Natural Instincts has a long history of running adventure trips to New Zealand’s most remote areas. Usually in groups of between six and ten 4WD vehicles, we had the pleasure of guiding groups on trips from beaches to high country farms.

Training and consultancy work commitments forced the shelving of these trips with guests for six long years. But Pete and Deb continued to explore every corner of the country in their travels. Amazing relaxing places or vibrant playgrounds that just screamed “explore me” This outdoors couple wished they could have shared their experiences and vowed that one day their chance would come. But in a more relaxed kiwi way involving kiwi holiday themes.

They always thought “If we enjoy what we see and do surely others would too”

As a more mature age has crept upon them they still enjoy camping, but no longer consider “roughing it” enjoyable. Good bedding and camp facilities, shorter traveling times and longer periods with a fishing rod in one hand and a beer in the other is far more to their tastes. Does this sound like you?

Enjoying the great outdoors for Pete and Deb has usually incorporated some strong themes.   

Surfcasting – on as many remote beaches as possible.

Shooting – small game varminting / pest control.

Exploring – coastal areas, remote properties, riverheads, and high country.

Variety of accommodation – Free camping, hot showers, hotels etc.

Fine fare – Fresh caught seafood cooked on the beach with a glass or two of wine.

Charges – Each adventure is customized to suit group desires. Charges relate to travel distances, accommodation medium/s, food and dining options, equipment requirements and level of catering. Your catch is your own.
